I run DOS 6.2 without this symptom, so it must be something other than DOS 6.2. Have you tried booting plain, or line by line (saying NO to some of the config.sys lines, or REMMING them out)? I'm sure you have something during your bootup that's interfering – and probably related to your symptom when you close AAPro "memory allocation error; cannot load COMMAND, system halted". "P.S.
