"Just read on ENS that Samsung bought a license from a company in Britain called Advanced RISC Machines LTD (ARM). The article said Samsung will embed ARM chip technology in products to be developed jointly by Samsung and ARM." I believe ARM is the company supplying the processor used in the Apple Newton. Apple is also an investor in the firm, if this is the one I'm thinking of. A number of firms, including Sharp, have licenses for this CPU and are using it in their PDA development. I seriously doubt that it has anything to do with the rumored acquisition of Commodore. Jerry
