I'm one of the Autodesk ETS' (Educational Training Specialist) Your point should be (I hope) well taken at Autodesk. When 2 products sit in front of you one at 150 and another at 800-1500 you have to make a decision, you as an educator who likes autocad will bite the bullet and buy autocad. Your administrator which is not as informed as you will buy mircostation. Why? probably beacuse they do not appreciate the difference between the two products. No percieved difference, buy the cheapest. I believe that this strategy can be extremely effective and requires a response from Autodesk. BTW the ATC where I teach just got nailed with a $300 cdn. upgrade fee per station from Integraph. How do you like them apples?
