Jonas,
I did download VIB3DS.ZIP and it gave me the same problems. I checked on the
VIDEO COLOR CHECK option and it was set to NO. I also read p.66-73 of the
installation manual and decided to try the VESA mode.
The results of the material editor were
Slower material rendering
Only 1 mat sample boxes was in color at a time, I would much prefer to have all
of the boxes in color at once
The results for rendering were
When the rendered image is about to be displayed the message box "Computing
colors, Stand by" appears for a second. Does this mean that the image is being
converted to 16 or 8 bit color? When the image does come up it appears very
slowly, how can I correct this?
Also I'm still not convinced it is rendering in 24 bit color. Is there any
test I can do to see that it is rendering in 24 bit color?
