Jonas, I did download VIB3DS.ZIP and it gave me the same problems. I checked on the VIDEO COLOR CHECK option and it was set to NO. I also read p.66-73 of the installation manual and decided to try the VESA mode. The results of the material editor were Slower material rendering Only 1 mat sample boxes was in color at a time, I would much prefer to have all of the boxes in color at once The results for rendering were When the rendered image is about to be displayed the message box "Computing colors, Stand by" appears for a second. Does this mean that the image is being converted to 16 or 8 bit color? When the image does come up it appears very slowly, how can I correct this? Also I'm still not convinced it is rendering in 24 bit color. Is there any test I can do to see that it is rendering in 24 bit color? Mark
