Object Construction
How do all you expert tS users create complex objects? I have tried extruded
splines, polygons produced in tS with and without boolean operations. DXF
imported from Corel and tS primitives moulded using the point editing tools or
deformation lattices.
Almost invariably my editing gets to a certain point and then something wierd
happens and the object is ruined. A flat surface suddenly becomes uneven as
though pulled too tight in one corner, three unrelated nodes are joined and an
inappropriate web created that sort of thing.
What am I doing wrong?
Is the bevel option particularly dodgy because I use it a lot and often it
dumps me out to DOS and it may be these problems are occuring when the object
has been bevelled.
