I tried some of your ideas about changing the INIT string and checking
prefs/serial. I've got the modem working good in DATA mode now, both send and
recieve. I havent had a chance to try recieve FAXS yet though.
YOu said try using RTS/CTS and changing init string from &H2 to &H1. This is
the default in the modem so I dont need this in the INIT string, or do I??
Another thing you said is to get a hardware flow control cable. How do I know
what I have is or isnt this type. When I bought the cable it said MODEM Cable
on the package. Are there different types, I thought all modem cables were the
same.
