Having done alot of image editing with programs such as Photoshop, I have learned not to trust my video ouput as to the true quality of my files. A printed output may confirm that these bands are very much part of the file, but it also may show that the gradation is quite smooth on your file. Certain combinations of resolutions, modes, and hardware can give greatly varying results (with smooth gradations of tone or color taking the hardest hit). I'm sure others in here that are better informed will jump in with specifics on TS and video. But whenever I hear of images turning up with these types of suprises, a red flag goes up. $ 00.02 Frank
