Harold,
Was this by chance a DXF import from AutoCAD. If so, try moving your project
to 0,0,0 in AutoCAD and set your UCS to world before doing the DXFOUT. I have
encountered imports which were off in left field and caused roundoff errors
which will effect a vertices location and the grid snap to operate in a unusual
manor.
