Yep, yesterday I got it up and running, (except what used to be drive E: is now
D: and viceversa ( a minor headache)

I agree, I didn't know that this motherboard supported 4 HDDs until I opened
the manual. I wasn't planing on putting more than 2 IDE drives in, ( I had 2
IDE drives and 1 SCSI drive) but when I saw I could add a 540 Mb for $200, I
decided that I really could use the space for my bulging MAPS directory.Plus I
was hoping for the speed increase of an E-IDE drive. Also because my first two
IDE drives are migrations from my pre Pentium machine, they only had 240, and
340 MB respectively.
I know that adding a 540 drive to that along with a 1Gb SCSI is kinda haphazard
but , like I said (or implied earlier), my setup really has become much less
"tight" than I consider acceptable. NT is going to force me (thankfully) to get
it together.

yes you are 100% correct. It is crucial to FIND the money if it isn't readily
available to keep your system relatively up to date. Things move too fast to
sit on the side lines. Of course that can sometimes cause problems also. I had
a tight, fast, unbottlenecked 486/66 system.Now (because I did it piecemeal, as
I could afford it) I have an average speed, not so tight, bottlenecked Pentium
90 system. It's still MUCH faster than what I had, but is it really better? I'm
not so sure

Once again, I agree with you completely.
1) I think NT is ,by far, the best possible solution, (good move Yost Group)
2) If they decided on NT and didn't say so until BETA time, not only would that
have been bad business, but it would've been down right rotten.People in our
business NEED to plan ahead. And the nothing is worse in that regard than
making plans based on one set of notions and having a totally new set of rules
thrown in at the last minute.
3) I know that my decision to get and learn NT now is just going to make the
migration to 3DS5 that much easier. The easier it is, the faster I can get
productive.

As you know, I have NT.
I just got the Windows95 Preview in the mail.
Do you know if I can install Win95, but somehow keep my old DOS/Windows intact
and make my NT boot up sequence give me the option of booting NT, NT(VGA),
DOS/WFWG or Win95?
