I was just curious. I have 5 physical drives partitioned into 12 logical
devices, and this happened to me as well. You can change the drive assignments
in NT to static assignments as you wish, but that leaves the problem of what
happens when the partition NT resides on changes to a new drive letter ? So, I
have put off even trying to solve this for a LONG time.
Does anyone out there have a solution for this ? Or has anybody tried it, and
if so…is NT so smart that it detects this and changes all the appropriate
references automatically ? (that would be great, but I seriously doubt it does)
