It would seem that you would assign the Com driver to which ever port your modem is on but then I must be missing something, as if that were the case you wouldn't be asking the question. I don't know David, if you can give me a little more to go on maybe I can help…. although by the time you get this I'll bet you've got it figured out… BTW are you aware of the MDS utility. If you got into DOS and type MSD it will tell you what the system Bios thinks is going on. Not always perfect but it will give you of what's active on Com 1 – 4. John
