John, Well, I finally installed NT this weekend. Whew; what a trip! Actually it went very well. It automatically saw all 4 of my IDE HD's, and the video driver it has for the GXE64Pro is working fine. I did have a little problem getting my CD going. It's a Sony CDU33A connected directly to a SoundBlaster 16 MultiCD. Though this combination is listed as compatible with NT, it's not mentioned anywhere in the readme/install, etc., that NT apparently will only use the default address for the CD ROM, (I was using something different). After I set it back to the defaults, it worked fine. The only problem now is that it automatically grabbed IRQ5 for the CD, (even though the MultiCD is using IRQ10), so then my modem wouldn't work in NT, (COM3 IRQ5). O.K.; modem goes to COM4 IRQ3, and now everything's working great, although COM4 is sharing IRQ3 with COM2, which I sometimes connect a plotter to for AutoCAD. Well, maybe if I don't plot while using the modem, I'll be O.K.; I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. AutoCAD R13 is really nice on NT, and I'm listening to Little Feat on the CD through the SoundBlaster at the same time as I'm sending this up to CIS via NT…bring on R5! John
