I've seen some stuff on key framing in the action editor, but as far as I can
see, that won't take me to where I want to go. Can I key frame between states
in the stage editor, or is there another way of putting these scenes together
for boned animation????
<<
Thats the way to do it Douglas. Think of each state as a distinct object. In
this case, when you load the object into a frame(s), you would additionally
tell Imagine which state to use…just click on the BROWSE button to get the
list of states foe easy selection.
Also, one thing to keep in mind in advance of doing state animations. Do NOT,
I repeat, DO NOT, use the DEFAULT state for morphing. The "DEFAULT" state is
special, Imagine uses it as a reference state. Using it may cause unwanted
results. If you need to use a state with the "DEFAULT" settings, create a copy
called "AT-REST", or something like that, and use _IT_ for morphing/animating
purposes.
