Peter, >> Anyway, I have tried all that and it still does not work. Can you tell me which driver you are using (together with file date/time stamps if possible)? << I re-read your original posting about getting only the top tray. This may indicate a problem with the physical installation of the 500-sheet accessory. Upon correct installation, it automatically becomes the default paper source if it contains the same size paper which has been defined as the printer's default. Make sure that you have the later model 500-sheet unit that is designed to work the the Plus (the original units worked only with the 4/4M); if it has the adj. tray, make sure that the green knob is pointed to the correct paper size contained in the cassette; check same thing on the 250-sheeter; check printer's default paper size. Does the bottom tray feed if you send a plain file to the printer from DOS? – Dick Minnick [Ford],74417,51 @ 10-May-1995, 23:22:07 EST [Troy, MI]
