Frank, I saw the following answer on a thread about using more than 64mb with 3DS. It seems that one of the fuller featured (more expensive) Memory Managers is needed to recognize more than 64mb under DOS/Pharlap. Hope this helps. Pretty pathetic that you spend $1200 on ram and then have to buy a seperate program to use it! Makes me look forward to using a real OS. With that much ram, you might look into using OS/2 to run 3DS. With some tinkering you can run one copy of 3DS to edit while at the same time rendering in the background with another copy in slave mode. Should run good with 128mb. -Matt (Active Media Graphics) ————————————————- FORWARDED MESSAGE – Orig: 10-May-95 15:08:11 Subject: #169437-3ds with 96MB ?! – Msg Number #169455 From: Kyle J. If you already have it, look in your manual under USEMEM or SCANMEM and it'll give you all the info you need to get DOS to see all that RAM. If you don't have it, I'd sugest picking it up. I've got 128 MB in my machine and it works great! -Kyle -Matthew Vaughn
