Tim: PMJI, and this issue may be dated as I have had little time on the forum in the last week, but D/Vision (formally TouchVision) is really a software company. Their CineWorks and D/Vision Pro products have been using the Intel/IBM Action Media II as their hardware foundation. And it sounds like the horrors alluded to here are hardware related. Those horrors are not too surprising as the Action Media II card is "ancient" (by industry standards) technology based on the vitually abandoned DVI codec. Simply put, the Action Media II card was around WAY before the idea of plug and play. So, horrors stories of D/Vision may be justified, but the software is really pretty good. AND, there are those strong rumors that new hardware is on the way to support the software. Stay tuned at NAB.. Jeff
