Robert, There are three versions in print now: R10, R11, and R12. Each is a complete coverage of ACAD, including customizing, 3D, solid modeling, rendering, AutoShade, intro to AutoLISP,and DOS. Solution manuals/Instructor guides are available for each, as is student work disks, and instructor disks that include drawing solutions for most problems in the text. Another book called "AutoCAD Essentials" is a more abbreviated book designed for introductory courses, high schools, etc. Each chapter begins with a short tutorial.
