Steve, One of the best "broadcast quality" video capture/playback cards on the market is the DPS Personal Animation Recorder. The card itself is about $2k, the TBC-IV which gives you the video capture is about a grand, and a nice 1GB or so HD, (about 5-7 minutes on-line) is about $600. Adobe Premiere or Razor Pro for non-linear editing software should finish you off. Now, with only 5-7 minutes on-line at any given time, you will need to "segment" out your work, ending each piece with a still-frame or something unless you want to buy a frame accurate recorder. In a month or so, DPS plans to release a PCI based board that works with SCSI as opposed to IDE hard drives, and then you could go ahead and get a 4GB drive for 20+ minutes of video. You will need a seperate board for the digital audio recording and playback but I am not sure what to recommend there, maybe someone else will pipe up with a recommendation for that side of it. -John
