Ts has a deform tool…with this tool you should be able to produce smooth animation motion. However I agree with your assesment of the CD figures. Human form and motion are to me one of the more challenging deciplines of art. Try the deformation tool on a wrist etc I think you will find that this aproach is more intutive one you get the hang of it. Don't feel bad about being new…I have been using TS for about a year (first the demo and then the 1.4 version) and I still feel I have much to master and learn. THere are still tools I have yet to try…no joke! And remember the big studios do not do their wonderful animations by hand input, they have device interfaces that cost very substantial sums of money they even use lasear scanning techiques. Those artists also would have a time trying to do what they do by hand alone input and manipulation. For us poorer foke we have to take our time and hope that the viewer apreciate the finnish accomplishment…THe best state of mind an artist can take is not to try to compete with other peoples work, rather develope our own way and our own style. If you keep at it you'll be on the cutting edge of future art.
