The world octree size error means that your scene is too large, that is, the
area it's occupying has exceeded Imagine's world. The way to resolve this is
to scale down the scene. Forgive me, but I don't recall Imagine's world
coordinate limits. If you try to create objects that are 1:1 in size (1unit =
1inch) or at least close to that, you shouldn't have a problem. Also, to avoid
this happening when ceating ground planes, or sky planes, use the primitive
GROUND object. Imagine handles this differently, and won't give you an octree
volume error.
As for the DOF, maybe someone else can jump in….I just haven't used it yet.
