Listen, I have been installing IDE and SCSI products for a few years and
pulling out chips from ANY board is not the thing to do.
Also, is the IDE card loaded with on-board serial, parallel, and game
ports?
The best thing to do is to call Future Domain and ask for a Install guide
for the Future Domain card, first.
Then, check your memory addresses and Interrupts inside your computer for
conflicts.
If that doesn't work, then yes, pull out the old SCSI card chip, but
replace it with the NEW update from Future Domain.
