Bruce,
as David said you need to set the memory on your GVP board to be EXTENDED.
I assume that since you just purchased the board it is one of the "G-FORCE
030 Combo" boards. I have a 25Mhz one with 5 meg installed and 7 Meg of 16
bit RAM.
I remember having problems with the jumper settings though. Wish I could
help more.
