Greg: A combination of concerns… differing primarily in the number of generations required… In house presentation to clients (Hi-8 would be my current guess) with the ability to produce OR obtain (via service bureau) promotional video composites that require multiple copies… I'm guessing that either A.You take the PC into a service bureau and do the once in a while higher quality stuff there or rent the equipment or B. You have a service bureau combine your in-house tapes or portions thereof). Or, you just send out your 3DS file and let someone else do it… wherein I would want to be able to figure out at what point you're at break even if you buy all the required stuff and don't do outside service for others…). Editing… hmmm… probably doesn't include SMTE time coding for exact sound effect coordination, but requires blending of different sequences (to avoid HUGE storage requirements I am assuming a frame accurate controllable deck), clean up, and the addition of voice over/sound track.
