Jaimie, Ensure that the object you wish to manipulate is not part of a group. If you select the shape tool and ths object turns into a blue dotted line, then it is part of a group. Ungroup it (if needed) and then see if the circle and square are one object. If they move together when one or the other is selected they are combined. Break them apart and *then* delete the square. There is no cropping function in DRAW for vector graphics. Therefore, what you are probably doing is resizing the object(s) selected. Paul
