Geoff, What kind of file does it crash? I've done some output from Corel to Scitex and everything worked well. The way I do it is to create a postscript print file using one of the color laser postscript drivers (QMS Color Scripr, Tektronix Phaser II or something similar that will have o box with "use color" on the menu). Than they take the postscript file and translate it to sitex format. There are some disadvantiges, for example Scitex does not support "overprint" fearure, even if it did you would not be able to send it using information created for a leser printer. That means Scitex people have to recreate the chokes and spreads for you, it is overall command in there so not a big deal if you did not put outlines for overlaps (those would show). Second minus is that Scitex is limited to only 256 colors when translating Postscript print files (I was told this, I couldn't see any problems on my colorful artwork) Am I talking about your problems, or all of this is this related?
