I've got my SCSI controller at C800 and it "stealthed" when I set QEMM's Stealth parameter to ST:M with NVR turned on. So, if I exclude **both** the D000 and E000 pages, and put the Targa+ at E000, everything pretty much works. Before, 3DS2 would tell me that it was rendering but nothing would show up on the Targa until it was done. Now it renders from the top down, just like it did in R1. I can jump into the materials editor after I render, and everything seems happy. The only thing… When I, for instance, go to load a 3DS file into the 3D Editor, the "pick a file" dialog box shows me cute littel buttons labled A to F. My new optical drive is G. I can read from it, get directories, etc, but it dosen't show up in its own little button.
