But is this a good deal? I wanted a NEC 74 external with the cd-rom bundled software! but, it is 900.00 dollars! Please give me specific informaion on what I should do. I have about $600.00 to spend and want to upgrade now but donot want to make the wrong decision. Should I:?… 1. Do what you tell me if I donot touch on it here… 2. Buy a SCSI adaptor and then get a drive from – Smart friendly – sony – creative labs – Talon TA-200 drive (280 ms 300kb transfer…with with software!… or some other drive? Total cost – adaptor micro channel to scsi? – 250? +drive = 7-800 total 3. Buy a Talon or NEC or Toshiba or Hitachi drive for the Micro Channel I also want a Sound board – will the scsi adaptor help with the sound board?> And will the scsi adaptor help with my need to upgrade my hard drive space? Also, how does the drive work in accordance with MS Windows 3.1? Thanks David Connelly
