Waveshapes of sounds
I have written a program in AMIGABASIC for playing Turkish music.
The notes for a melody are input from the keyboard as DATA statements. The
program then plays them sequentially.
The frequencies of the notes in Turkish music are somewhat
different than those of western music. The intervals are unequal. There are
five subnotes inbetween the full notes(i.e. between do and re). I have
defined all the frequencies in the program; what I need are the waveshapes
of the sounds of various musical instruments. The help I need:
1-The published numerical values of such waveshapes. Where can I
find them?
2-Could somebody suggest me a music program, where I can define the
frequencies of the notes myself? There are lots of programs around, but I
