Earthquakes
The only natural disasters in Alberta would be Tornadoes. They usually
touch down in unoccupied land and are small and weak. We did have a major
one hit Edmonton a few years back. That was the weekend a friend and I
were on a canoe trip heading towards Edmonton. Never saw nothing of the
tornado but had steady rain all weekend and one mean breeze coming up the
river valley.
