I agree, it's tough to keep a chip manufacturing facility in tip-top
shape. I have no idea how active MOS still is. As for the Power PC –
there were 30 of them available for hands-on tinkering at Apple's
last developer conference. They were emulating the Mac at Quadra
speeds – yep, even running things like PhotoShop at full tilt.
