If you have an 8MB PC, try OS/2. The 2.1 version is being shipped
right now. It supports almost all of the Win 3.1 programs except
those that require a VxD (e.g. Visual C++). It will allow you to
create multiple Virtual DOS Machines, each with its own
AUTOEXEC.BAT. You will no longer have to worry about RAM-cram. The
best thing is the price: $89 for the CD-ROM and $119 for diskettes
from IBM (the price will be cheaper from your local dealer —
Egghead, etc.).
