Tom, The 1960 has a specific problem with what you want to do. Both
tracks cannot be output separately as you need. You need the time
code modification. Discount Video Wharehouse (they have ads in
Videographer and other trade publications) will install the
modification for $150 plus shipping. You will probably want to use
the HiFi tracks for sound and one of the linear tracks for time code.
