Not only does 3D studio come with a CD-ROM with a gagillion texture, bump, and whateverelse maps, but you can create you own materials in any decent imaging software like photoshop/styler, animator pro, etc… . And, yes, there are third party materials libraries available, though I haven't yet tried any. And with the flexibility of lighting, anti-aliasing, and shadow-bias in 3D studio, you'll be nipping on the heels of those high-end SGI junkies in no time, if not biting their legs off. ^.^ jt
