Lacking the funds to purchase a skeleton model from viewpoint, I have decided to embark on a project to create a model myself, since I happen to have a full size skeleton lying around the house for reference. I dabbled a bit attepting to create a fibula in the 2D shaper last night, and it wasn't bad for a first try, but not very good, either. What I am looking for are suggestion from people more experienced than I as to the best way to go about this. should I create the bones in Autocad, possibly with ame? Or is there a better way in 3DS than what I tried? If necessary, I can make copies of the bones and slice them into cross sections and digitize them, but there is still the matter of connecting the cross sections. I figure I can do this in Autocad, but my 3D experience with ACAD is limited, I mostly do 2D. I expect this to take quite a while to do, so any suggestions to speed the process would be enormously appreciated.
