Bruce, If someone could spring for the extra bucks for a Pioneer 604X, would you recommend it for non-professional use? I'm heavily into genealogy, and plan to buy several different CD-ROM based databases (SSN, death, etc.). I'm wondering if it would be worth $800-900 extra to me (on the minimizing annoyances scale) to have 6 such disks loaded, and not have to futz with changing them. And, I'm wondering how the extra speed would rate on my anti-annoyance scale. But, since I have no experience with single drives nor multiples, I can only wildly guess. Would it be worth it to you, based on your experience with single and multiple-disk drives? I know I would spring for the 604X if I did this all day long, but I only do it for a few hours a couple of times a week. So, I cannot justify the extra cost for productivity reasons. David
