John: I agree with what you say but I think you also need to look at it from another side. Say you buy a complex product such as BarsPipes and you need to ring up five times to sort out problems. After a few months most of the problems are ironed out and there won't be many more calls. If the product is then sold on, then the producers will have to provide back up for a whole new learning curve starting from scratch. I wonder how many times the product would need to be resold before the costs of service back up exceed the profits? I'm not arguing with the good points you raised, but I just thought that there was also a good point from the other side. Greg
