Hi Chris, you have asked a question that has been hashed over many times in the last few months. It's true that CD-I has taken a beating, but I must respectfully disagree with Rich and tell you that it's not dead yet. CD-ROM XA has also not lived up to expectations (yet). My question to you is, why are you considering only these two formats? Is there some reason that your data cannot be distributed on Yellow Book CD-ROM? If you want a standard that has a proven track record, large installed base, versatility, and forward compatibility, this would be the obvious choice. Recent hardware and software developments have narrowed the gap between XA and regular CD-ROM capabilities. Dana J. Parker
