Great, glad you got it working Shawn! Actually, HDToolBox has the
capability to query the drive for the particulars. Once you are in
HDToolBox, click on "Change Drive Type", next "Define New", and then a
screen should appear that has a button labeled "Read Configuration". It
should read the information from the drive. If it also gives you wierd
numbers for the cylinder's then I would say Quantum is doing something
strange. Make sure you have you have a backup of the drive if you already
have important data on it, because clicking on OK from this point will
erase it.
Many drive manufacturer's will specify the Unformated capacity of the
drive to make it sound bigger <g>.
