Rocky, I've been using FFV and Toaster together since Late Toater 1.0 and the first reve of FFV. I've now got the FFV II and Toaster 3.1, still no problem. The only thing I can think of is that with FFV you still need something connected to the video port that looks like a 1080 or 1084. In my case it is a 1080 that also has composit out of the Toaster Preview running to it. You can use a Pre-Vue Technolgies synch strainger there as a video "terminator", but there has to be something on that 23 pin port. As for damaging the Toaster, I think the only way that may have occured is if you were wiggling/changing cables at teh video connector with the machine turned on. If you shorted the +12 or +5 volt pins to ground or each other (not that hard to do) you may have blown the pico fuses that are on those lines – its a bear to fix them too. Entire motherboard has to come out. If the fuses didn't blow, it is possible that some damage was done to the Toaster. But my feeling is that the pins and traces and fuses of the video port would suffer the damage before the Toaster. BTW, one of my Toaster set-ups has the Micro R&D 250 watt supply, the other has a 300 watt supply. wmc – via Autopilot!
