I had a similar problem. With a Series II maybe 'GvpScsiCtrl -r' in your
user startup will mount it. I had a drive that wouldn't be recognized on
power up, but was if I warm booted. This will go out and query the SCSI
bus again and 'hopefully' mount any drives that are slow to spin up.
