Steve, Make sure that the LAST DISK flag is NOT checked off in the RDB of the original drive (or on any other drive). Also, try swapping the SCSI ID numbers of the drives, so that the newer drive will be scanned at a different location. Some drives will take too long to spin up and be recognized. In these worst case scenarios, you will either have to re-boot the system or use a program such as SCSIMOUNTER to mount the drive manually after the system is active. GVP TECH
