I was just kidding about the upgrade. 8^) But, I do feel (hope) that another
release is immenent. (however it's spelled??)
Sorry, I didn't explain myself too clearly earlier. Here goes another try …
The flic that I'm trying to overlay was created by a morphing program. The
morphing program creates 24bit pictures with successive numbers. I use the
Numpic thing to import pictures as a flc.
Unfortunately, in the process of morphing, some of the white background ends up
being just off-white (253,253,253). So, when I try overlay it onto a
background, I get a speckeled transparent effect.
I'm going to try Mark Yankee's suggestions. I've got a lot of reading to do!!
Ah ha, I may have just figured it out. I'm going to try overlay it three
times. First onto a (253,253,253) background and then that flc onto a
(255,255,255) background. Finally I overlay the second flc onto the real
background. … It works, I've just tried it. Not too elegant though.
It's late. If this is gobledegook (however THAT'S spelled??) just ignore me.
Thanks, Michael.
