Well, I've switched to 9600 for virtually everything and I find that it
saves a small amount of money and a ton of time over 2400 baud. The 9600
nodes also tend to have MNP error correction which the 1200/2400s do not.
The savings in anything but time aren't dramatic, but it does not cost
you more to save that time, and if you download anything you will REALLY
see an improvement.
