It sure is a good way to test the limits of a system, too<G>
Have you been able to shell to 3DS in the past and this is a new problem or is
this the first try?
Setting /E:32768 would be excessive in any case and probably reduces the ram
available to other programs. Type "set"<CR> from the command line and see if
all your variables have been set and reduce the number until you see problems.
I'm not a memory guru, but because Acad and 3DS use different versions of
PharLap, I would suspect that to be a potential problem in itself.
Maybe someone else with good memory knowledge can jump in.
