Doug, Ernie and everyone else,
Here's the scoop.
Animator Studio runs on Win 3.1. There are some users that have gotten it to
run on Win NT 3.51, (not 3.5) by running animator.exe instead of flash.exe. We
are working feverishly (is it hot in here?) to complete a version of AS that
runs on Win 95 and Win NT. We will have a version available in time for Win
95's release, and it will be a free upgrade. No charge.
Before I came to Autodesk, I had no sympathy for software companies.
Now I'm amazed that any company ships working software at all. You have no
idea the work that goes into making a product run on a single operating system,
let alone multiple OS's.
