Hi Dave I have just finished talking to Artist Graphics….We changed to a VESA driver (written by the Yost Group, according to Artist) at 640X480 (same as the flics). During the Preview phase the animation paused at the end of flic A, there was a flash of colors then the Please Wait….. message, jumped to last frame of flic B and then to frame 1 of flic A. I started to Render and got the message: Moving C:\PAAT /AATEMP.FLC size 21583536 free 28017493 After it finished(Returned to frame 1 of flic A) I attempted to play it back….the computer did not lock up instead I got the message: Abnormal program termination: Memory protection fault CS: EIP=000CH : 00052ACDh and returned to the directory prompt. I tried it a second time and the same thing happened except the message ended with 0003F480h. Config.Sys had all the Devices etc. REM'd Artists Graphics said this proves that it is not the card and recommended that I not change to the Orchid for trial but that the problem lies elswhere.
