Martin, I've been running a user group in Boston for several years and am involved with the NAAUG MM SIG >> 1. What activities << Meeting are usually broken into social time, group business (very short<g>), demos by members or vendors of work in progress, Plug-ins, related software, basic features of 3DS, etc. We usually end with open discussions. We've had sporadic newsletters. We have some dealers who offer discounts to group members. >> 2. How much?<< $30/year $20(I think) for students. No volume discounts because nobody has volume members<g> >>3. any sponsers?<< No, we want to stay indepentent from commercial concerns as much as possible. Wentworth Institute does provide us with a room, equipment, and refreshments with no strings attached. >>4. search for new members?<< Mostly, word of mouth, but we are listed in 3D Artist magazine and with Autodesk.
