WHAT caused the Amiga to crash? THE SOFTWARE! Not to mention, the software was supposed to be READING, not writing, when it locked up the machine. I have had other software crash (the Amiga) WHILE writing, and upon reboot, a LOOONG validation was required. In no case has it corrupted the drive ("Drive dh1: has a READ/WRITE error…"). Now I don't run that software anymore, even though it never corrupted the drive. I don't like tempting fate… Maybe we are splitting hairs, here. Six of one, half-dozen of the other 8-). BTW, DIVINE INTERVENTION has never corrupted floppies, under the same circumtances. So I run it from floppies. — Bob
