You might try removing the indiciesrom the database (you have to leave at least one active), reorg it to the same name and rebuild the indicies one at a time. Try accessing the record in question after deleting each index and you will be able to identify the one that got trashed. My experience has been with cross-file validations and having an index on one of the associated databases get bollixed up. I blew away the indicies as outlined above and managed to recover every thing fully. If you need any assistance with this method, I'll be glad to give you a hand. Jim Joslin
