If you're using Digiview buy a Ham-E. If you have enough memory you can run
the Black Belt IP software that comes with it at the same time you run
Digiview. IP has a dynamic range function that has rescued many of my old
Digiview images – dramatic improvement. Black Belt is working cooperatively
with Newtek so if you have Digiview and you really want the best quality
out of it – check it out. Also be sure that you have enough light on your
subject. Your video camera should have Lux specifications. Use a light
meter and get the lights right. You'd be surprised how much it helps. Also
use a decent lens with an adjustable iris.
